Vintage Audio London is a passion for reel to reel tape recorders and audio repairs that started many years ago, and I would like to share a few paragraphs of its story.

Not only that it has given me the satisfaction to bring machines back to life but the chance to gain great insight into how different companies engineered their products. The special components they used in Revox Studer reel to reel tape recorders, capstan axles that made Nakamichi cassette decks sound unique, the way Ampex structured and interconnected modules, the special materials Yamaha used for some hi-end speaker membranes, etc.

Just like someone likes watching football or playing video games, I enjoy taking vintage audio components apart, studying them and bringing them back to life.
